Amy Ooi, FCILT, FLogM, attended the AGM of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) in Malaysia at Shah Alam on 30 August 2024 (Friday). CILT may still be unknown to some, but it has been around since 1919 and has had Royal Charter status since 1926. Their professional qualifications, i.e., Chartered Fellow (FCILT) and Chartered Membership (CMILT), have been well accepted and recognised globally.
Their professional qualifications, obtained through the Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE) or an accredited academic qualification, plus an MSc, MBA, or MA, allow them to pursue doctoral (PhD or DBA) studies.
Our Dato' Logistician Chang Kah Loon, FCILT, FLogM, has served as the Chairman of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport - Penang Section for more than two decades.
