KW Leong, PJK, MBA (AeU), CLM, FLogM, CMILT, VTO, an alumnus of AK Academy 勤 略 學 院, where he pursued and obtained his MBA (AeU), FLogM, and CMILT (through PDLT and PQE), on his success in setting up his logistics facility at Special Border Economic Zone (SBEZ), Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah.
As you're aware, logistics is an essential service under the Act in Malaysia; however, world trade faces challenges due to various global issues, including US tariffs. In general, logistics industry players are expanding their capacities in line with the market demands.
In this context, EW Logistics and Transport (M) Sdn Bhd and EW Freight Forwarding Sdn Bhd, owned and managed by our Log. KW Leong, PJK, have set up their warehouse and distribution centre at BKH ICD, SBEZ, Kedah.
Today, 1 June 2025 (Sun), YB Senator Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan, who is the Finance Minister II of Malaysia, made an official visit and graced the SBEZ, where EW Group of Companies places its first warehouse and distribution centre, acknowledging the importance of logistics for economic development and growth in Malaysia.
