Honouring Excellence: Log. Kung Kok Chye Hosts Lunch for Dato’ Log. Dr. Chang Kah Loon PhD Achievement
09 Jun 2025Our Senior Logistician, Log. Kung Kok Chye, FCILT, FLogM, hosted a lunch on Sunday, 8 June 2025, with the intention of catching up and honouring our Dato' Log. Dr. Chang Kah Loon, FCILT, FLogM, for being awarded a PhD (Maritime Logistics) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).
After completing his CIT (now the CILT) programme of study (PQE) in 1982, Log. Kung Kok Chye received admission to the CIT (now the CILT) in 1983 as "MCIT" and was upgraded to FCILT in 2007. Log. Kung is a true CILT veteran!
Log. Kung has known our Dato' Chang since 1994 and has witnessed his positive mindset and progression through various platforms, including his professional services in the logistics industry (especially shipping), community, and education, all while maintaining a strong spirit of lifelong learning to the present day. Many are happy for him, indeed.
Our Dato' Chang truly appreciated Log. Kung's kindness, support, and thoughtfulness. It means a lot to him to have a logistician friend of senior rank like him by his side on this meaningful journey. Our Dato' Chang eagerly anticipates sharing many more wonderful moments with our respected Log. Kung and team.
