In the capacity of Chairman of CILT (Penang Section), our Dato' Log. Ts. Dr. Chang Kah Loon, PhD (USM), FCILT, FLogM, represented our CILT Malaysia and attended the Closing Ceremony for the Industry and Professional Certification Programme (Logistics Industry Competency Certificate Course) of the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE/ KPTiP) in Penang on 6 August 2025 (Wed). 

The professional certification programme for logistics included MOHE (KPT), UMKCEE (UMK), PTPTN, and CILT. 

Besides our Dato' Dr. Chang for CILT, the other VIPs present included the Senior Principal Assistant Director of MOHE (KPT), Tuan Raymond Teoh Joo Han; Vice Chancellor of UMK, Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Arham Bin Abdullah; CEO of PTPTN, Tuan Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid; Group CEO of PKT, Dato' Seri (Dr) Michael Tio; CEO of Government-Industry TVET Coordination Body, Br. Jamil Bakri; and two Deputy Vice Chancellors of UMK. 

Other CILT representatives, including Dr. Razman Hafifi Redzuan, PhD (UTM), CMILT (former National Council Member, CILT in Malaysia), and Log. Eunice Chang Qi Ying, CMILT, MLogM (Secretary, CILT Penang Section), were also in attendance to witness the ceremony. 

More than 200 graduates from the above programme were also present to receive their certificates from the VIPs. 

Becoming a professional logistician is always the right choice for our young generation!
