Our Dato' Log. Ts. Dr. Chang Kah Loon, PhD (USM), FCILT, FLogM, who is the Chief Executive of AK Academy 勤 略 學 院 and Chairman of CILT (Penang Section); Log. Ts. Amy Ooi, FCILT, FLogM, our Academic Registrar of AK Academy 勤 略 學 院; Log. KW Leong, FLogM, CMILT, our Fellow of AK Academy 勤 略 學 院 (FAKA); and Log. Ashly Ong, CMILT, MLogM, an Adjunct Faculty Member of AK Academy 勤 略 學 院, were all in attendance at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Election of the CILT in Malaysia. 

CILT in Malaysia called for its AGM and election at Shah Alam, Selangor, on 16 August 2025 (Sat). All arrangements were made in accordance with the Constitution of CILT in Malaysia. 

👉  CILT was founded in the UK in 1919 and was granted a Royal Charter status in 1926. Its professional qualification, through its Chartered status, i.e., FCILT (Chartered Fellow) or CMILT (Chartered Member), is a mark of having a high level of standard of art and science in logistics, transport, and supply chain and is well recognised internationally. 

👉  CILT is a respected global organisation for logisticians and transport planners; individuals cannot join any membership level unless they have successfully completed the related professional qualifying examination (PQE) or have equivalent academic qualifications in the fields of logistics, transport, and supply chain.

👉  For the Chartered Membership, we need you to possess both paper qualifications and several years of experience in the fields of logistics, transport, and supply chain.
