Our Chief Executive, Dato' Log. Ts. Dr. Chang Kah Loon 拿督曾家麟博士, PhD (USM), FCILT, FLogM, who's also the President of LogM and Chairman of CILT (Penang Section), was invited to attend the CNY Open House, hosted by Penang Port Commission (Suruhanjaya Pelabuhan Pulau Pinang/ PPC), (which is a statutory body under the Ministry of Transport, Malaysia, which serves as the port authority for the port of Penang), at Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal, Penang, on 14 February 2026 (Saturday).

Thank you, PPC Chairman, Dato' Yeoh Soon Hin, for the invitation extended to our Dato’ Log. Ts. Dr. Chang to join this meaningful and wonderful CNY celebration. 

Of course, the Chairman of Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB), (which is the terminal operator for the port of Penang), Dato’ Seri Log. Syed Mohamad Bin Syed Murtaza, FLogM, was also in attendance. 

Other attendees included the Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, YB. Steven Sim Chee Keong; the Deputy Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development, YB. Lim Hui Ying; Ambassadors and Consuls General from various countries; several Members of Parliament; Members of the State Legislative Assembly; the Mayor of the City Council of Penang Island; City Councillors; Representatives of Government Agencies; Presidents and Chairmen of related trade associations; Community Leaders; and many others. 

A good event for all, especially port users, indeed.
